The tradition of Ralli is common in Sindh, Balochistan and in the cholistan desert. the Ralli is often associated with the Sufi’s; it signifies their concept of humility, by the reuse of old cloth. The devotees who throng to Bhit Shah, the hometown of Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai, the Sufi sainted reveres all over Sindh, to pay homage at his shrine, carrying rolled bundles of ralli from their homes to spread out in the courtyard as bedding.
